- Edwin: K-12 Platform for Hundreds of Thousands of StudentsA K-12 learning platform used by hundreds of thousands of students and teachers across Canada and beyond, mandated across every Ontario school board and fully bilingual in English and French. As principal developer on the core app for eight years, I rebuilt it three times (Electron, then a React PWA, then Next.js) and led the move from GraphQL to gRPC across a dozen-plus services, retiring the old data layer. I owned the performance work too, rewriting data pipelines to take 5–10 second page loads under 500ms, and led Whiteboard, a collaborative canvas app with a hand-built pan and zoom engine.React · Next.js · TypeScript · Go · gRPC · MongoDB↗
- Solaris: Thoughts Condensed into 4D SculptureType a thought and a 22.7M-parameter language model reads it on your own machine, then the thought condenses into a sculpture, the way the ocean in Lem's novel imitates what it has seen. A 3D autoencoder I trained on about 15,000 CC-licensed forms grows seven of them back into signed-distance fields, one per model layer, and they melt into a single four-dimensional body that a WebGL raymarcher slices along w. Same thought, same sculpture, forever. No server, no API, and it works offline after the first load.WebGL2 · GLSL · ONNX Runtime · PyTorch · TypeScript↗
- 2,000,000 Particle SimulatorUp to two million particles simulated and drawn in real time in the browser. A WebGPU compute shader integrates the whole population on-GPU — including a mesh solver for a self-gravitating galaxy — with a WebGL2 transform-feedback fallback and a virtualized sidebar that scrolls every row on ~33 live DOM nodes.WebGPU · WGSL · TypeScript · WebGL2 · Vite↗
